Spherical Roller Bearings
Spherical roller bearings are double-row, self-retaining barrel roller bearings. A spherical roller bearing consists of a solid outer ring with a raceway (both rows of rollers share this raceway), a solid inner ring and the barrel rollers with a cage. The inner rings of this type of bearing have either cylindrical (i.e., straight) or conical (i.e., tapered; cone 1:12 or rarely 1:30) bores. This bearing aims to compensate for shaft deflections and misalignments of the bearing seats.
