BASL Design

Simmerring in the BASL version according to DIN 3760 with a rubberised outer jacket, a metallic reinforcement, a spring-loaded sealing lip, and an additional protective lip.

B1 with SL dust lip. Ring made of metal, closed on one side. With spring. This article is not continuously stocked.

B2 with SL protective lip. Reinforced version. Ring made of metal, closed on both sides. With spring. Stocked only in certain dimensions.

VITSL Design

Simmerring according to DIN 3760 with wrapped metallic stiffening ring, a spring-loaded sealing lip, and an additional protective lip.

Simmerring / Rotary Shaft Seal Storage

Generally, 5 to 25 degrees Celsius, darkened, 70 % humidity, maximum 5-6 years for NBR-Wedis (BA, BASL, B1, B2, BAOF) and 9-10 years for FPM/FKM-Wedis (VIT). However, our Wedis do not get old in our inventory because they sell out quickly.
Ozone is particularly harmful, such as that produced by laser printers, electric motors or certain lamps. If Wedis are placed on PVC or metal, chemical processes can occur over time. It is best to store rubber articles in their original packaging and consume them quickly.
