The SKF 22326 CCK/W33 self-aligning roller bearing (130x280x93 mm) compensates for misalignment and withstands heavy radial loads at temperatures up to 200 °C.
The SKF 22326 CCK/W33 self-aligning roller bearing belongs to the Explorer performance class for demanding industrial applications. Two symmetrical rows of rollers carry loads on a common hollow-spherical outer ring raceway, enabling the open bearing to automatically compensate for angular misalignment and shaft deflection during operation. The 100Cr6 material used in manufacture gives the rings and rolling elements high dimensional stability within a temperature range of -30 to +200 degrees.
This design is particularly suitable for heavy-duty applications involving high radial forces and shock loads. Wherever shaft deflection or misalignment between the bearing housings occurs, the oscillating movement reduces mechanical stress within the system. The integrated sheet steel cage guides the two rows of rollers precisely and withstands dynamic accelerations during operation.
The suffix CCK denotes a tapered bore with a ratio of 1:12. This allows direct mounting on a tapered shaft seat or, alternatively, on a cylindrical shaft using suitable mounting and withdrawal sleeves. The remaining radial bearing clearance can be precisely adjusted via the axial slide-on travel. The W33 designation indicates a circumferential lubrication groove with lubrication holes in the outer ring, which facilitates the supply of lubricant directly into the interior of the rolling bearing once it is installed.
The main dimensions are 130 mm bore diameter, 280 mm outer diameter and 93 mm width. The component is made from case-hardened standard roller bearing steel 100Cr6 and is manufactured with standard radial bearing clearance.
The letter K denotes a tapered bore with a taper ratio of 1:12. It is mounted either directly onto a tapered shaft journal or, on cylindrical shafts, using clamping or withdrawal sleeves, which simplifies assembly and disassembly.
The designation W33 refers to a circumferential lubrication groove with lubrication holes in the outer ring. This allows grease or lubricating oil to be fed directly between the two rows of rollers, thereby optimising relubrication within the housing.
The permissible operating temperature range is between -30 and +200 degrees. As this is an open design without abiding sealing elements, the thermal load capacity is not limited by elastomers.
The bearing combines dimensional accuracy in accordance with standard class PN with enhanced running accuracy in accordance with tolerance class P5. This manufacturing precision in the Explorer range ensures low-vibration operation under high loads.
