The SKF 6210-2RS1 deep groove ball bearing, measuring 50x90x20 mm, features seals on both sides to ensure reliable radial load transmission in industrial applications.
The 6210-2RS1 deep groove ball bearing provides users with a single-row rolling bearing from SKF that primarily accommodates radial loads as well as axial guidance forces. Manufactured from standard roller bearing steel (100Cr6), this version combines a 50 mm inner bore with an outer diameter of 90 mm and a width of 20 mm. Thanks to the contact seals fitted on both sides, the component is suitable for direct installation in industrial drives, pump systems and conveyor systems.
The design proves particularly effective in units where protection against external environmental influences such as dust, dirt or moisture is required. Typical applications include electric motors, industrial fans and enclosed gearbox stages in general mechanical and plant engineering. The single-row deep-groove ball bearing absorbs radial forces during continuous operation. Thanks to its deep raceways, it guides the shaft accurately in both directions, even under moderate axial loads.
The 2RS1 design features abiding seals on both end faces. These sealing lips shield the interior against solid particles and splash water, whilst minimising lubricant leakage. Together with the standard radial bearing clearance and the lightweight sheet steel cage, the bearing is designed for a temperature range of –20 to +120 degrees Celsius. The tolerance class P0 or ABEC 1 ensures standardised dimensional accuracy for precise bearing seats.
With a bore of 50 mm, an outer diameter of 90 mm and a width of 20 mm, the roller bearing complies with standardised dimensions. These key dimensions allow the roller bearing to be fitted directly into suitable housings and onto the designated shafts. The outer ring has no flange or groove.
Seals arranged on both sides protect the interior of the bearing from dirt particles and moisture. The sealing lips prevent lubricant leakage across the entire operating range from -20 to +120 degrees Celsius, thereby reducing the need for routine maintenance.
The permissible operating temperature range is between -20 and +120 degrees Celsius. Both the standard 100Cr6 rolling bearing steel and the fitted seals and sheet steel cage are designed for operation within these thermal limits.
This design is manufactured with standard radial bearing clearance. It is suitable for conventional installation scenarios with standard fits and minimal temperature differences between the inner and outer rings. The existing radial clearance facilitates the free rolling of the rolling elements, even under operational heating conditions.
Tolerance class P0 or ABEC 1 defines standardised limit dimensions for industrial rolling bearings with regard to dimensional, form and running deviations. This accuracy class meets the design requirements of typical electric drives, pumps and gearboxes used in industrial mechanical engineering.
An integrated sheet steel cage guides the rolling elements evenly along the raceway. This cage design takes up little space, is lightweight and maintains the balls at a defined distance, which promotes smooth running during continuous operation.
