The FAG 16026 deep groove ball bearing, a single-row, open rolling bearing measuring 130 × 200 × 22 mm, offers a compact solution for industrial radial loads.
The 16026 deep-groove ball bearing is an open radial deep-groove ball bearing with an inside diameter of 130 mm, an outside diameter of 200 mm and a narrow width of 22 mm. Manufactured from standard 100Cr6 rolling bearing steel, this design primarily accommodates radial forces as well as axial forces in both directions. The integrated sheet steel cage guides the rolling elements evenly within the deep raceways. The open design is particularly suitable for use in enclosed assemblies where an external lubricant supply continuously lubricates the component.
Due to its narrow cross-section with a comparatively small width for a 130 mm shaft diameter, the bearing is suitable for designs with limited axial installation space. Typical applications are found in general mechanical and plant engineering for industrial shaft and axle bearings. With a specified temperature range of –20 to +150 degrees, the bearing is suitable for varying thermal operating conditions. As no integrated sealing washers are fitted, the lubricant can be replaced unhindered via an oil circulation system or a central relubrication system.
This model features a standard radial bearing clearance and the standard tolerance class P0 (ABEC 1). As the component is of an unsealed design, the bearing location in the surrounding housing must be protected against the ingress of dirt and moisture by external sealing elements. The standard bearing clearance is designed for typical fits on the shaft and in the housing, without extreme temperature differences between the inner and outer rings. During installation, clean mating surfaces and a lubricant suitable for the operating temperatures are required.
This bearing is designed with an internal diameter of 130 mm, an external diameter of 200 mm and a narrow width of 22 mm. This aspect ratio is suitable for designs with limited axial installation space, where large-diameter shafts need to be supported with precision.
Without integrated cover or contact seals fitted as standard, the rolling elements and raceways are exposed. This allows the lubricant to reach the contact surfaces directly, which facilitates use in oil- or grease-lubricated systems. An external housing seal is required to protect against solid particles and moisture.
Standard radial bearing clearance (normal clearance) provides the internal clearance between the balls and raceways, which is designed for standard operating conditions. This design is tailored to standard shaft and housing fits, provided there are no excessive temperature differences between the inner and outer rings.
The inner and outer rings, as well as the balls, are made of standard roller bearing steel (100Cr6). The rolling elements are guided by a sheet steel cage, which keeps the balls at a uniform distance from one another. The bearing is specified for operating temperatures between -20 and +150 degrees.
As a radial deep-groove ball bearing, the design primarily absorbs radial forces perpendicular to the shaft axis. Owing to the deep grooves rolled into the inner and outer rings, this single-row component also transmits axial forces in both directions.
Tolerance class P0 (also referred to as PN or ABEC 1) defines the standard accuracy with regard to dimensional, form and running deviations in accordance with ISO specifications. This classification meets the usual industrial requirements for rotating machine components without enhanced precision specifications.
