The FAG 6315-2RSR deep-groove ball bearing combines a 75 mm bore with ground seals on both sides for protected bearing arrangements under radial loads.
The single-row deep groove ball bearing 6315 -2RSR is a versatile rolling bearing with an internal diameter of 75 mm, an external diameter of 160 mm and a width of 37 mm. Manufactured from standard rolling-element bearing steel 100Cr6, this FAG bearing accommodates both radial and axial forces in both directions. The design features a sheet steel cage and operates with standard radial clearance within tolerance class P0/PN or ABEC 1. The bearing is designed for industrial applications in mechanical engineering and maintenance.
This bearing withstands radial forces and supports moderate axial forces in both directions. The design is intended for rotating shafts with a diameter of 75 mm. A permissible temperature range of -20 to +100 degrees enables its use in standard industrial operating environments without external heat exposure.
The designation 2RSR stands for sliding seals fitted on both sides. These sealing lips, which make contact with the inner ring, protect the interior from the ingress of dust, dirt particles and moisture. At the same time, they retain the grease within the rolling element chamber. Due to the friction between the sealing lips and the inner ring, the maximum operating temperature is +100 degrees.
The component has an internal bore of 75 mm, an external diameter of 160 mm and a width of 37 mm. These dimensions allow for a precise fit when installed on the relevant shafts and in the corresponding housing seats.
The designation -2RSR indicates two abutting sliding seals fitted on both sides. These protect the interior from solid contaminants and splash water. The lubricant is retained within the rolling element chamber, which reduces the maintenance required during operation.
This roller bearing is manufactured with a standard radial clearance. This clearance class is intended for standard fits on the shaft and in the housing, and compensates for normal thermal expansion at operating temperatures of up to +100 degrees.
The raceways and rolling elements are made from standard roller bearing steel 100Cr6. A sturdy sheet steel cage separates the rolling balls and keeps them at a uniform distance, which helps to ensure smooth guidance of the rolling elements.
The permissible operating range is between -20 and +100 degrees Celsius. The friction-type sealing lips set the upper temperature limit. This range is suitable for typical industrial environments where no additional heat is generated.
The bearing complies with tolerance class P0 or PN, which corresponds to the international ABEC 1 classification. This tolerance class meets the standard requirements for dimensional, radial and axial runout accuracy in mechanical and plant engineering.
