The FAG S6205-HLC deep groove ball bearing, made of stainless steel and measuring 25 x 52 x 15 mm, is suitable for radial and axial loads in corrosive environments.
The single-row deep groove ball bearing S6205-HLC from FAG is made of stainless steel and accommodates radial forces as well as axial loads in both directions. The rings and rolling elements are corrosion-resistant, which protects the component from moisture. As an open bearing with a 25 mm bore, 52 mm outer diameter and 15 mm width, it allows for external lubrication. It is suitable for a temperature range of -30 to +120 degrees Celsius.
This rolling bearing is suitable for applications where moisture or liquids come into contact with the bearing housing. As both the rings and the balls are made of stainless steel, the running surfaces remain protected against corrosion. The integrated sheet steel cage guides the rolling elements evenly during continuous rotational movement and ensures precise guidance during operation.
The open design without integrated sealing washers offers low rotational resistance and allows for use in an oil bath or with external relubrication. The bearing assembly is preferably integrated into housing designs that already feature external seals. With standard radial clearance and tolerance class P0/PN (ABEC 1), the model complies with current standards for cylindrical bearing seats.
The roller bearing has an inner diameter of 25 mm, an outer diameter of 52 mm and a width of 15 mm. Before fitting, check the shaft seat and the housing against these dimensions to ensure a precise fit.
Both the solid rings and the balls are made of stainless steel. This material is resistant to moisture and splashing water and protects the raceways from corrosion. This makes the bearing suitable for use in damp operating conditions.
The open design has neither contact seals nor cover plates. As a result, the bearing operates with low frictional resistance and can be lubricated flexibly via a central lubrication system or an oil bath. The bearing housing should be protected from dirt by the surrounding casing.
The bearing has the standard radial clearance. This standard clearance is designed for typical fits on the shaft and housing. It ensures smooth running without excessive radial stress at operating temperatures between -30 and +120 degrees Celsius.
The permissible temperature range for the roller bearing is -30 to +120 degrees Celsius. These limits are determined by the thermal resistance of the stainless steel and the sheet steel cage. Select a lubricant suitable for this temperature range.
The bearing is manufactured to the standard tolerance class P0/PN, which corresponds to the ABEC 1 classification. This tolerance class provides the necessary dimensional accuracy and concentricity for standard industrial applications on conventionally machined shafts and housing bores.
