The FAG N319 -E-M1 cylindrical roller bearing (95x200x45 mm) is an open idler bearing with a brass cage that can withstand high radial loads.
This single-row cylindrical roller bearing N319 -E-M1 from FAG is characterised by its compact design and high radial load-carrying capacity. With a bore diameter of 95 mm, an outside diameter of 200 mm and a width of 45 mm, this design is suitable for heavy-duty applications in mechanical and plant engineering. The open roller bearing has standard radial clearance and is designed for a temperature range of –30 to +150 degrees Celsius.
The N319 -E-M1 cylindrical roller bearing is designed to specifically accommodate purely radial loads in rotating shaft guides. As the outer ring is detachable on both sides, the unit functions as a classic non-locating bearing. This design compensates for axial changes in shaft length caused by thermal expansion during operation, without any forced alignment within the bearing housing. Furthermore, the separable design facilitates the separate installation of both bearing rings.
The solid brass cage (designation M1) guides the cylindrical rollers precisely and, compared to standard cages, offers high dimensional stability under vibrations or shock loads. Furthermore, brass is resistant to aggressive lubricants. With its classification in tolerance class P0 (ABEC 1), the roller bearing complies with the standardised accuracy requirements for industrial applications.
A single-row radial roller bearing of type N with the main dimensions 95 × 200 × 45 mm. The outer ring has no flanges and can be removed from both sides. A sturdy brass cage keeps the rollers spaced apart, whilst the open design ensures a flexible supply of lubricant via the machine housing.
Type N bearings have fixed flanges on the inner ring, whilst the flangeless outer ring allows for axial movement of the shaft. The bearing accommodates radial forces only and prevents axial stress that may arise due to thermal expansion of the shaft whilst operating within the bearing housing.
The designation refers to design features specific to FAG: the letter ‘E’ indicates an optimised internal design with increased load-carrying capacity. The abbreviation ‘M1’ stands for a solid brass cage, which offers high resistance to vibrations, speed fluctuations and mechanical stresses.
The bearing is designed for operating temperatures ranging from -30 to +150 degrees Celsius. As this is an open bearing without integrated seals, the actual operating limit depends primarily on the thermal resistance of the lubricating oil or grease used externally.
The bearing is manufactured with standard radial bearing clearance (corresponding to tolerance group CN). Under normal fit and temperature conditions, this provides a balanced operating clearance between the rolling elements and raceways, thereby promoting low-vibration and smooth operation of the drivetrain.
