The FAG NU319 -E-M1 cylindrical roller bearing is a single-row non-locating bearing with a brass cage and main dimensions of 95 × 200 × 45 mm, designed for high radial loads.
The NU319 -E-M1 cylindrical roller bearing serves as a radial rolling bearing designed to withstand high loads in industrial machinery. Thanks to the modified line contact between the rollers and raceways, this design can handle higher radial forces than point-contact ball bearings. The FAG roller bearing has a 95 mm bore, an outer diameter of 200 mm and a width of 45 mm. As it is an open bearing, the component can be flexibly integrated into oil- or grease-lubricated recirculating systems.
As a pure non-locating bearing, the NU319 -E-M1 cylindrical roller bearing compensates for axial thermal expansion of the shaft directly between the rollers and the inner ring raceway. Typical applications include bearing arrangements subject to high radial forces and temperature-induced longitudinal displacement of shafts. The solid brass cage also withstands vibrations and shock loads. With a permissible temperature range of –30 to +150 degrees, the bearing is suitable for thermally demanding operating conditions.
In the NU design, the outer ring guides the rollers between two fixed flanges, whilst the flangeless inner ring can be removed from both sides. This design considerably facilitates assembly and disassembly, as the inner and outer rings can be pressed onto the shaft and housing separately. This design features a standard radial bearing clearance and tolerance class P0/PN (ABEC 1). A solid brass cage helps to guide the rolling elements and ensures mechanical stability under heavy loads.
A single-row cylindrical roller bearing in a floating arrangement, designed to support radial forces only. The inner ring has no flanges and can be withdrawn from either end, thereby allowing axial shaft movements to be compensated for freely within the bearing. A brass cage guides the cylindrical rollers securely along their raceways.
The bearing has an inside diameter of 95 mm, an outside diameter of 200 mm and a width of 45 mm. These dimensions correspond to the standardised main dimensions for radial roller bearings in this series.
The outer ring guides the rollers with two fixed flanges, whilst the inner ring has a smooth cylindrical raceway. This allows the shaft to move axially relative to the housing unhindered during thermal expansion, without any parasitic axial forces acting on the bearing.
The brass cage offers high mechanical strength and resistance to vibrations, impact loads and high acceleration forces. It keeps the cylindrical rollers evenly spaced and ensures safe operation under high mechanical loads.
The permissible operating range is between -30 and +150 degrees. Within this range, the bearing rings, cylindrical rollers and the brass cage retain their dimensional stability and mechanical properties.
As the bearing is designed without integrated sealing washers, lubrication is provided via the surrounding structure. Depending on the system design, it can be operated using grease or lubricating oil, with external seals in the housing preventing the ingress of dirt and the loss of lubricant.
