The FAG NU219 -E-XL-TVP2-C3 cylindrical roller bearing, with a 95 mm bore and C3 radial clearance, offers a robust support solution for high radial forces.
The NU219 -E-XL-TVP2-C3 cylindrical roller bearing is a single-row radial roller bearing designed for demanding industrial applications. With its main dimensions of 95 mm inner diameter, 170 mm outer diameter and 32 mm width, this open bearing can accommodate high radial forces. The NU design allows the inner ring to be removed from both sides. This facilitates the separate mounting of both bearing rings onto the shaft and housing.
Used purely as a floating bearing, this design compensates for thermally induced changes in shaft length without any constraint. Typical applications include industrial gearboxes, electric motors, pumps and general mechanical engineering. As the bearing does not carry any axial forces, this bearing arrangement is usually combined with a separate fixed bearing. The integrated polyamide cage guides the cylindrical rollers quietly and is suitable for operating temperatures ranging from –30 to +120 degrees Celsius.
The version with the suffix TVP2 features a lightweight polyamide cage, which reduces friction and moving masses within the bearing. At the same time, the increased radial clearance (C3) compensates for operational heating or tight fits. Without this increased operating clearance, the radial clearance could be reduced too much during operation. As this is an open bearing without an integrated seal, you should select the appropriate lubricant and external housing seal to suit the specific environment.
The NU design is characterised by two solid flanges on the outer ring and a flangeless inner ring. This allows the inner ring to be moved axially in both directions and removed completely. The component therefore serves purely as a non-locating bearing to accommodate the shaft’s linear expansion without restriction.
This cylindrical roller bearing has a bore of 95 mm, an outside diameter of 170 mm and a width of 32 mm. It is manufactured to the standard tolerance class P0/PN (corresponding to ABEC 1). The outer ring is designed without an additional lubrication groove or lubrication bore.
A slightly increased radial bearing clearance compared with the standard version is indicated by the suffix C3. This increased clearance between the rollers and the raceway is recommended where there are temperature differences between the inner and outer rings, or where tight fits reduce the operating clearance once the bearing is installed.
A solid polyamide window cage is characterised by its low weight, smooth running action and quiet operation. The TVP2 version is designed for a temperature range of -30 to +120 degrees Celsius.
As an open bearing without integrated sealing washers, this design requires an external seal in the housing. Lubrication can be carried out as required using grease or oil, selected to suit the rotational speeds and thermal operating conditions of the application.
