The FAG NUP313 -E-M1 cylindrical roller bearing combines high radial load-carrying capacity with axial guidance on both sides, with dimensions of 65 × 140 × 33 mm.
The FAG NUP313 -E-M1 cylindrical roller bearing is a single-row rolling bearing designed for demanding industrial applications. With a bore of 65 mm, an outside diameter of 140 mm and a width of 33 mm, this design can withstand considerable radial forces. Designed as an open bearing, it can be integrated directly into existing lubrication circuits. The solid brass cage guides the cylindrical rollers precisely and ensures smooth running even under demanding operating conditions.
This design is primarily used where high radial forces are present and the shaft must simultaneously be axially guided in both directions. Thanks to the NUP fixed-bearing design, the component features two fixed flanges on the outer ring, as well as one fixed flange and one loose flange disc on the inner ring. This enables the bearing arrangement to accommodate light axial loads as well. It is suitable for shaft mountings where defined axial fixation is required on both sides.
The designation letter M1 refers to the solid brass cage, which guides the rollers and keeps them spaced apart. Compared to standard sheet metal cages, brass offers high strength and good damping properties in the event of vibrations or impact loads. The bearing operates within a temperature range of -30 to +150 degrees Celsius. Thanks to the standard radial clearance and tolerance class P0 or ABEC 1, the component fits dimensionally accurately into standardised bearing seats.
The designation NUP indicates that the bearing is a fixed bearing. Two fixed flanges on the outer ring, together with one fixed flange and one loose flange disc on the inner ring, enable the bearing to accommodate axial forces from both directions. This ensures that the shaft is guided precisely in its axial position.
The bearing has an inside diameter of 65 mm, an outside diameter of 140 mm and a width across flats of 33 mm. The outer ring is smooth, i.e. without a groove or lubrication bore. These dimensions correspond to the standardised main dimensions for this size.
The suffix M1 denotes a solid brass cage. This cage material is characterised by high dimensional stability and resistance to vibration. It is therefore particularly suitable for applications involving vibrations, uneven speeds or impact forces, where sheet metal cages reach their mechanical limits.
The NUP313 -E-M1 cylindrical roller bearing is approved for operation within a temperature range of -30 to +150 degrees Celsius. As this is an open bearing without integrated seals, the actual operating limit depends largely on the thermal stability of the selected grease or lubricating oil.
As an open roller bearing, this design has no integrated sealing washers. It can be lubricated either with grease or via a circulating oil lubrication system. The bearing location must be protected against the ingress of contaminants and the loss of lubricant by the surrounding housing structure.
Normal radial bearing clearance means that the bearing is manufactured to the standard clearance specified for the CN group. This internal radial clearance helps to ensure that, once the bearing rings have been pressed onto the shaft and housing, and subject to normal operating temperatures, perfect concentricity is maintained without any distortion.
