The FAG NUP214 -E-M1 cylindrical roller bearing, a single-row fixed bearing measuring 70 × 125 × 24 mm, provides precise guidance under high radial loads.
The FAG NUP214 -E-M1 cylindrical roller bearing is a single-row radial roller bearing designed for demanding industrial applications. With a bore of 70 mm, an outside diameter of 125 mm and a width of 24 mm, this roller bearing can accommodate considerable radial forces. The open bearing has standard radial clearance and complies with tolerance class P0 or ABEC 1. Thanks to its robust design, the bearing guides rotating shafts with precision and is equally suitable for rapid machine servicing and for volume requirements in industrial procurement.
The NUP design withstands high radial forces as well as axial guidance forces in both directions within rotating machine components. As a single-row fixed bearing, the component locks the shaft axially, thereby eliminating the need for separate axial bearing arrangements on both sides. With a permissible temperature range of –30 to +150 degrees, the bearing unit is also suitable for demanding thermal conditions in industrial manufacturing environments.
The NUP design features two fixed flanges on the outer ring, as well as one fixed flange and one loose flange disc on the inner ring. This enables the bearing to support the shaft axially in both directions. The integrated brass cage guides the cylindrical rollers accurately, withstands high accelerations and dampens vibrations during operation. As this is an open bearing without an integrated seal, you can select the type of lubricant and external housing seals to suit your environmental conditions and maintenance intervals.
The bearing has an internal diameter of 70 mm, an external diameter of 125 mm and a mounting width of 24 mm. These standardised key dimensions enable a precise replacement in existing machine designs. Always check the dimensional accuracy of the bearing seating surfaces on your shaft and the housing before fitting.
The abbreviation NUP designates cylindrical roller bearings that function as fixed bearings. The bearing has two fixed flanges on the outer ring and one fixed flange and one loose flange disc on the inner ring. This arrangement allows the shaft to be axially fixed at both ends, whilst at the same time very high radial forces are transmitted via the cylindrical rolling elements.
This FAG bearing is designed for operating temperatures ranging from -30 to +150 degrees. The actual operating limit during continuous operation depends not only on the material stability of the bearing but, above all, on the lubricant selected. At high temperatures, ensure that greases or lubricating oils retain their viscosity and that external housing seals are heat-resistant.
The solid brass cage keeps the rollers at a fixed distance apart and prevents them from coming into contact with one another. Brass is characterised by good run-on properties, high strength and thermal stability. This makes the cage particularly suitable for applications involving shock loads, severe vibrations or rapidly changing speeds, such as those encountered in dynamically loaded bearing arrangements.
As this is an open bearing without an integrated seal, lubrication is provided via the surrounding housing structure. Depending on the speed and operating conditions, either grease or oil circulation lubrication is used. A clean installation environment and external seals, such as shaft seals, protect the open bearing interior from dirt particles and moisture.
The cylindrical roller bearing is manufactured with standard radial clearance and complies with the standard tolerances of class P0 or ABEC 1. This design is suitable for typical industrial installation conditions with standard fits. For applications involving extreme thermal expansion of the shaft, it is advisable to check in advance that the design specifications of the relevant assembly are met.
