The FAG NUP219 -E-XL-TVP2 cylindrical roller bearing precisely supports shafts with a 95 mm bore as a fixed bearing under high radial loads.
The NUP219 -E-XL-TVP2 cylindrical roller bearing is a single-row roller bearing from FAG designed for very high radial loads. With dimensions of a 95 mm bore, 170 mm outer diameter and 32 mm width, this design combines a compact form with high radial rigidity. The line contact of the cylindrical rollers distributes applied forces evenly across the raceways and rolling elements, which reduces wear during operation.
This bearing is primarily used where heavy radial loads are present and the shaft must be guided in both axial directions simultaneously. As a fixed bearing, the NUP design provides axial fixation via fixed flanges on the outer ring, as well as a fixed flange and a loose flange disc on the inner ring. Typical applications include mechanical drive trains and shaft mountings with guidance on both sides. As this is an open bearing, it integrates directly into existing lubrication systems.
The TVP2 version features a lightweight polyamide cage, which reduces the inertial forces of the rollers and ensures smooth running. The permissible temperature range extends from –30 to +120 degrees. Thanks to manufacture to tolerance class P0 (ABEC 1) and standard radial clearance, the bearing can be precisely integrated into standard fits. The design offers practical advantages for maintenance and assembly, as the inner and outer rings can be fitted separately onto the shaft and housing respectively.
The bearing has an inside diameter of 95 mm, an outside diameter of 170 mm and a width of 32 mm. These dimensions correspond to the standardised values for single-row cylindrical roller bearings of this size. Before fitting, check that the shaft seat and housing bore are of the correct dimensions.
The NUP design denotes a fixed bearing designed to accommodate combined loads. It features two fixed flanges on the outer ring and a fixed flange with a loose flange disc on the inner ring. As a result, the cylindrical roller bearing accommodates radial forces and guides the shaft axially in both directions.
The suffix TVP2 indicates a polyamide cage. This is characterised by its low weight and good damping properties. It reduces the moving mass of the rollers, ensuring smooth running at varying speeds and effectively damping vibrations.
The permissible operating temperature range for this bearing type is between -30 and +120 degrees. This range is largely determined by the polyamide cage and the lubricant used. Ensure that you select a lubricant that is suitable for these temperature conditions.
The standard radial bearing clearance refers to the standard clearance between the cylindrical rollers and the raceways when the bearing is in its unassembled state. It is suitable for conventional fit selections on shafts and housings. This ensures that the required operating clearance is maintained during normal operation, even when the bearing heats up due to operation.
As an open cylindrical roller bearing, this model has no integrated seals. This allows for direct lubrication via a central lubrication system or a gear oil bath. When designing the bearing housing, provision must be made for external sealing of the housing to protect the bearing from contamination.
