The FAG NUP2210 -E-XL-TVP2-C3 cylindrical roller bearing is a heavy-duty fixed bearing with a 50 mm bore diameter, designed for demanding radial loads in mechanical engineering.
The NUP2210 -E-XL-TVP2-C3 cylindrical roller bearing is a single-row radial roller bearing from FAG designed for high radial forces. As a fixed bearing, the NUP design accommodates not only the main load but also axial forces in both directions. With dimensions of a 50 mm bore, 90 mm outside diameter and 23 mm width, this design is suitable for compact installation spaces in general mechanical and plant engineering.
The NUP design is characterised by two fixed flanges on the outer ring, as well as one fixed flange and one loose flange disc on the inner ring. As a result, the rolling bearing guides the shaft axially in both directions and absorbs short-term axial forces. Design engineers primarily use this variant where shaft positions need to be precisely fixed and high radial forces are acting at the same time. The version with standard tolerance P0 is designed for a precise fit on standard shafts.
The polyamide cage ensures low inertia and promotes low-vibration, low-noise operation. The increased radial clearance (C3) compensates for operational heating and tight fit allowances without causing the rollers to become stressed. With a permissible temperature range of -30 to +120 degrees, this open bearing operates flawlessly in many industrial environments. As this roller bearing is supplied without sealing washers, you can regulate the lubricant supply via the surrounding housing.
The bearing has an internal diameter of 50 mm, an external diameter of 90 mm and a width of 23 mm. These standardised key dimensions allow for replacement during repair and maintenance work on existing machine designs.
The designation NUP denotes a fixed bearing. It has two fixed flanges on the outer ring and one fixed flange and one loose flange disc on the inner ring. This arrangement supports shafts in both axial directions and fixes their axial position within the machine housing.
The suffix TVP2 denotes a polyamide cage. This cage material reduces rotating mass, lowers operating noise and is characterised by its smooth running properties. It is designed for operating temperatures of up to +120 degrees.
The C3 bearing clearance group offers greater radial clearance than the standard CN version. This additional margin prevents the cylindrical rollers from seizing up should significant temperature differences arise between the inner and outer rings, or should tight press fits be selected for the shaft and housing.
As an open-type variant, this roller bearing has no integrated sealing washers. Lubrication is provided either by grease or via an oil circulation system within the housing. To protect the rolling element system from dirt and moisture, external shaft seals are required in the adjacent structure.
The permissible operating temperature range is from -30 to +120 degrees. At the upper end, this range is largely limited by the polyamide cage fitted. To ensure stable operation, the housing lubricant used must also be approved for the relevant operating temperature.
