The SKF NUP2307 ECP single-row cylindrical roller bearing (35x80x31 mm) is designed as a fixed bearing to accommodate high radial loads and axial forces in both directions.
The SKF NUP2307 ECP cylindrical roller bearing combines a compact design with a high radial load capacity. With dimensions of a 35 mm bore, 80 mm outside diameter and 31 mm width, this single-row roller bearing is ideal for use in demanding industrial drives. As part of the SKF Explorer series, the bearing features an optimised internal design, whilst the integrated polyamide cage guides the cylindrical rollers with precision. The open bearing is designed for a temperature range of -30 to +120 degrees and can be flexibly integrated into existing lubrication systems.
This rolling bearing is used in applications involving combined loads, where the shaft is subjected to both high radial forces and alternating axial forces. Two fixed flanges on the outer ring and one fixed flange with a loose flange disc on the inner ring enable the shaft to be fixed axially at both ends. As a result, the bearing performs a reliable fixed-end function in shaft systems where precise axial positioning is required.
The suffix ECP denotes a polyamide cage combined with an optimised internal design. This cage is characterised by its low weight, dampens running noise and ensures smooth operation. With dimensional accuracy to tolerance class P0 (ABEC 1) and improved running accuracy to P6 (ABEC 3), the component enables precise shaft guidance. It is important to note the open design without a seal, as well as the permissible temperature range of between -30 and +120 degrees.
The main dimensions are a bore diameter of 35 mm, an outside diameter of 80 mm and a width across flats of 31 mm. It is a single-row roller bearing with standard radial clearance. The outer ring has no ring groove and no lubrication bore, so the lubricant is supplied via the open design.
This design features a fixed bearing capable of withstanding radial loads and axial forces in both directions. The outer ring has two fixed guide flanges, whilst the inner ring has one fixed flange and one loose flange disc. The design guides the shaft axially in both directions and transfers radial forces via the cylindrical rollers.
The ECP design combines an optimised internal structure with a lightweight polyamide cage and forms part of the SKF Explorer range. The cage guides the rolling elements in a low-noise and vibration-damping manner. This design is rated for operating temperatures ranging from -30 to +120 degrees in continuous industrial operation.
As this is an open bearing without integrated seals, lubrication is provided by the surrounding structure. You can use either grease or lubricating oil, depending on the application. Ensure that the installation environment is clean and that external seals are fitted to the machine housing to prevent dirt particles or moisture from entering the roller bearing.
The combination of dimensional accuracy to standard class P0 (ABEC 1) and increased running accuracy to class P6 (ABEC 3) allows for standardised bearing seats whilst improving concentricity. This ensures precise guidance of the bearing-mounted components and uniform concentricity during operation.
Normal radial bearing clearance refers to the radial clearance specified by the manufacturer in the unloaded initial state prior to installation. This bearing clearance is designed for standard fits and typical operating temperatures, ensuring that the correct operating clearance for the cylindrical rollers remains after assembly.
