The SKF 52213 double-acting axial deep groove ball bearing supports axial forces in both directions and measures 55x100x47 mm.
The 52213 axial deep-groove ball bearing absorbs axial forces in both directions and supports shafts on both sides. SKF manufactures this rolling bearing from standard bearing steel (100Cr6), combined with a sheet steel cage. With a bore of 55 mm, an outside diameter of 100 mm and a width of 47 mm, this component is suitable for mechanical engineering applications. The permissible temperature range is from -30 to +150 degrees. The scope of supply comprises the axial bearing itself, without washers.
This thrust bearing is designed to support purely axial loads acting alternately on a shaft from two directions. As the component is not designed for radial forces, it is used in combination with separate radial bearings. It is used in bearing arrangements where shafts must be precisely guided axially on both sides. As the bearing is not angularly adjustable, the design requires right-angled machined connecting parts without any misalignment.
Double-acting roller bearings have two sets of balls and a shared shaft washer between two housing discs. This enables the component to support axial movements in both directions with a positive fit, without the user having to fit two separate axial bearings. The bearing is manufactured to the standard tolerance P0/PN or ABEC 1. The model does not include spherical washers. The shaft and housing surfaces must therefore be precisely aligned to avoid edge stresses on the rolling elements.
This axial deep-groove ball bearing is a double-acting rolling bearing with a 55 mm bore, an outer diameter of 100 mm and a width of 47 mm. The bearing absorbs axial forces from both directions and guides the shaft axially. Manufactured from 100Cr6 bearing steel with a sheet steel cage, it is suitable for operating temperatures ranging from -30 to +150 degrees.
This design is designed to support only axial forces, whether these act alternately or simultaneously in both axial directions. The bearing must not be subjected to radial loads. An additional radial bearing is therefore always required in the bearing arrangement to provide radial guidance for the shaft.
This thrust bearing has flat discs and is designed without spherical washers. As a result, the component cannot compensate for misalignment or shaft deflection. The contact surfaces in the housing and on the shaft must be machined exactly at right angles to the bearing axis to prevent uneven loading of the balls.
The bearing is designed for a temperature range of -30 to +150 degrees. The bearing washers, 100Cr6 balls and the sheet steel cage retain their dimensional stability within this range. When selecting a lubricant, you should ensure that the grease or oil is suitable for the relevant operating temperature.
The bearing complies with the standard tolerance class P0/PN, also known as ABEC 1. This class defines the permissible dimensional and running tolerances for standard industrial applications. It allows for straightforward replacement during maintenance work and ensures a precise fit in the housing seat and on the shaft.
The scope of supply comprises solely the actual axial deep-groove ball bearing, consisting of the shaft washer, two housing washers and two ball rings in a sheet steel cage. Washers for compensating for angular misalignment are not included in the scope of supply. Before installation, check that the adjacent structure provides flat bearing surfaces.
