The single-row FAG angular contact ball bearing 7326 -B-MP-UA (130 × 280 × 58 mm) with a brass cage can accommodate high combined radial and one-way axial loads.
The 7326 -B-MP-UA angular contact ball bearing from FAG Rolling Bearings is a single-row radial rolling bearing made from standard bearing steel (100Cr6) with a bore of 130 mm, an outer diameter of 280 mm and a width of 58 mm. In this open design, the rolling elements transmit combined forces via the raceways at a contact angle of 40 degrees. The design is suitable for industrial applications within a temperature range of -20 to +200 degrees Celsius.
This angular contact ball bearing accommodates combined loads in which radial forces and unidirectional axial forces act simultaneously. The contact angle of 40 degrees enables high axial force transmission in one direction. As an open component without an integrated seal, the bearing operates in lubricated systems that are protected from contamination by external housing seals.
The suffixes describe specific design features: the abbreviation B stands for the 40-degree contact angle, which provides increased axial load-carrying capacity. The MP designation indicates the solid brass cage, which retains its dimensional stability in the face of vibrations and operating temperatures of up to 200 degrees. The universal design (UA) means that the bearing is suitable for installation in pairs in an O or X arrangement, with a minimal axial clearance as a design feature.
The roller bearing has an inner diameter of 130 mm, an outer diameter of 280 mm and a width of 58 mm. The outer ring is flangeless and has no groove. These dimensions allow for a precise fit on shafts and in housings in accordance with standard industry specifications.
A solid brass cage is characterised by high mechanical strength and thermal resilience. It withstands heavy impact loads and vibrations during operation. Furthermore, the material retains its dimensional stability within a temperature range of -20 to +200 degrees Celsius and guides the balls in the rolling element set.
The designation ‘UA’ stands for a universal design intended for pairing. When two bearings are fitted in an O or X configuration, this immediately results in a small amount of axial clearance without the need for time-consuming readjustment. This simplifies the installation of bearing sets designed to accommodate opposing axial forces or tilting moments.
The contact angle describes the line of force transmission between the rolling elements and the raceways relative to the radial plane. At an angle of 40 degrees (designation B), the angular contact ball bearing can accommodate particularly high axial forces in one direction. Conversely, its purely radial load-carrying capacity is reduced compared with bearings with a smaller angle.
This model does not come with any integrated sealing washers as standard. Lubrication is provided via the surrounding machine housing using grease or lubricating oil. The lubricant used must be suitable for the operating conditions, whilst external housing seals protect the exposed component from particulate contamination.
The roller bearing complies with the standard tolerance class P0/PN, which corresponds to class ABEC 1 in the Anglo-American region. This standard tolerance meets the standard accuracy requirements of the mechanical and plant engineering sectors regarding dimensional, geometric and running accuracy for cylindrical bearing seats.
