The 7319 -B-XL-TVP angular contact ball bearing (95x200x45 mm) accommodates combined loads with a high proportion of unidirectional axial load whilst providing stable guidance in mechanical engineering applications.
The 7319 -B-XL-TVP angular contact ball bearing from FAG is designed as a single-row rolling bearing for combined loads. Thanks to the geometry between the balls and raceways, this design accommodates both radial forces and axial forces in one direction. The standard rolling bearing steel 100Cr6 ensures high dimensional stability under load. The open bearing has standard radial clearance and complies with tolerance class P0/PN or ABEC 1.
This bearing is used in shaft mountings where radial forces are combined with significant unilateral axial forces. Single-row angular contact ball bearings usually require a second bearing, mounted in the opposite direction, to accommodate axial reaction forces. Axial forces are always absorbed only in the direction of the flange edges. Thanks to its cylindrical design without a flange or groove on the outer ring, the component can be fitted directly into flat housing bores.
The 40-degree contact angle determines the force transmission and gives the bearing a high axial load-carrying capacity in the direction of action. The suffix TVP denotes a polyamide cage, which guides the rolling elements and reduces the component’s weight compared with metal versions. The cage material is designed for operating temperatures ranging from –20 to +120 degrees Celsius. Operation requires a lubricant supply of grease or oil, selected to suit the operating conditions.
With a contact angle of 40 degrees, this single-row FAG roller bearing accommodates combined forces with an axial centre of gravity in one direction. It is designed as an open unit without an integrated seal, is made from 100Cr6 bearing steel and features a lightweight polyamide cage to guide the rolling elements.
With an internal bore of 95 mm, an external diameter of 200 mm and a width of 45 mm, the bearing complies with the standardised main dimensions. The outer ring is cylindrical with no groove or flange, which allows for direct installation in precision housing bores.
The contact angle describes the line of action of the force between the raceways, which is inclined to the radial plane. At an angle of 40 degrees, the bearing can specifically accommodate axial forces in a defined direction. To accommodate axial forces in both directions, two angular contact ball bearings are usually arranged in pairs, facing each other.
The permissible operating temperature range is from -20 to +120 degrees Celsius. This range is determined by the thermal properties of the polyamide cage and the dimensional stability of the steel rings. The lubricant selected must also be suitable for this temperature range.
At FAG, the abbreviation TVP denotes a polyamide cage. This material is characterised by good damping properties and low friction against the rolling elements. Furthermore, the plastic cage reduces the weight of the rolling bearing compared with solid metal cages.
As the roller bearing is an open design without sealing washers, it can be lubricated flexibly using grease or roller bearing oil, depending on the application. Protection against dirt particles and moisture ingress is to be provided by suitable external seals in the surrounding housing structure.
