The 7306 -B-XL-TVP angular contact ball bearing from FAG Wälzlager combines dimensions of 30 × 72 × 19 mm with a high axial load capacity thanks to a 40-degree contact angle.
The 7306 -B-XL-TVP angular contact ball bearing from FAG Wälzlager is a single-row radial ball bearing made from standard bearing steel (100Cr6) for demanding applications. With a bore of 30 mm, an outer diameter of 72 mm and a width of 19 mm, this design accommodates radial forces and single-sided axial forces. As this is an open bearing without integrated seals, lubricating oil or grease can reach the raceways directly and circulate freely.
This single-row angular contact ball bearing is primarily used for combined loads consisting of radial forces and one-way axial loads. If two bearings are mounted in pairs facing each other, reliable two-way axial guidance of the shaft can also be achieved. The open design, which does not incorporate abiding sealing elements, is particularly well-suited to bearing arrangements in enclosed housings with external sealing and controlled relubrication.
The 40-degree contact angle enables the targeted absorption of high axial forces in one load direction. The integrated polyamide cage (TVP) guides the rolling elements with low friction and is suitable for operating temperatures ranging from –20 to +120 degrees Celsius. The design complies with tolerance class P0 (ABEC 1) and has standard radial bearing clearance, with the final operating clearance only being determined during assembly by adjustment.
This roller bearing has a bore of 30 mm, an outside diameter of 72 mm and a width of 19 mm. It is a single-row bearing with a cylindrical bore and an outer ring without a flange or ring groove, manufactured to standardised dimensions.
The suffix ‘B’ indicates a contact angle of 40 degrees between the raceways and the balls. The line of intersection of the contact points runs at an angle to the radial plane. As a result, the bearing specifically absorbs axial forces in one direction and transfers combined loads directly to the surrounding structure.
The designation TVP refers to a polyamide cage that maintains a uniform spacing between the balls. The material is characterised by its low weight and low-friction running properties, and is designed for operating temperatures ranging from -20 to +120 degrees Celsius.
Open roller bearings do not have factory-fitted seals or cover plates. This design is particularly suitable for applications with external housing seals and a central lubrication system, such as in enclosed gearboxes, as lubricating oil or grease can reach the raceways unhindered.
This design has standard radial bearing clearance and complies with tolerance class P0 or ABEC 1. In the case of single-row angular contact ball bearings, the actual operating clearance is usually only established during assembly by deliberately aligning the bearing against a second bearing.
The operating temperature range is specified as -20 to +120 degrees Celsius. This range is determined by the standard roller bearing steel 100Cr6 and the polyamide cage. The externally supplied lubricant should also be suitable for these temperatures.
