The 7219 -B-XL-TVP-UA angular contact ball bearing from FAG Wälzlager, with dimensions of 95 x 170 x 32 mm and a contact angle of 40 degrees, offers high axial load-carrying capacity for paired bearing arrangements.
The 7219 -B-XL-TVP-UA angular contact ball bearing is a single-row rolling bearing made from standard bearing steel (100Cr6) for industrial applications. Thanks to its angularly arranged raceways, this design can simultaneously accommodate high radial forces as well as single-sided axial forces. As an open version without a seal, the bearing is designed for operation with external lubrication within a temperature range of -20 to +120 degrees. It is manufactured to tolerance class P0/PN or ABEC 1 with standard radial clearance.
This single-row angular contact ball bearing is typically used where combined loads with a significant axial component require precise guidance. The suffix ‘UA’ denotes a universal design for installation in sets: when mounted in pairs in an O or X arrangement, a small amount of axial clearance is automatically established. Such bearing sets are suitable for shaft mountings where components need to be guided and supported axially. The cylindrical outer ring has neither a flange nor a groove and fits precisely into housing bores.
The nominal contact angle of 40 degrees (designation B) provides a high axial load capacity in the direction of action. A polyamide cage (TVP) guides the rolling elements. This material is characterised by its low weight and quiet running. As this is an open bearing, provision must be made within the housing for lubrication and external sealing to keep contaminants away from the raceways.
The suffix ‘UA’ stands for a universal design intended for installation in pairs. When two bearings are fitted in an O or X configuration, a defined, small amount of axial clearance is established as a result of the design. This simplifies installation compared with bearings that have to be adjusted individually.
The bearing has an inner diameter of 95 mm, an outer diameter of 170 mm and a width of 32 mm. It is a single-row angular contact ball bearing with a cylindrical bore and an outer ring without a flange or groove.
The contact angle of 40 degrees means that the line of action of the force runs at an angle to the radial plane. This enables the angular contact ball bearing to accommodate high axial forces in one direction, in addition to radial forces. For axial loads acting in both directions, the bearings are designed to be arranged in pairs.
This version features a polyamide cage (designation TVP). This cage guides the rolling elements quietly. The bearing is designed for a temperature range of -20 to +120 degrees.
Open bearings have no seals and are suitable for applications where the bearing is supplied with lubricant via the housing system. In this design, protection against dirt is provided by external seals on the housing.
The roller bearing is manufactured to standard tolerance class P0 or PN, which corresponds to ABEC 1. It offers the dimensional accuracy required for industrial applications with normal radial clearance.
