The FAG 7319 -B-MP-UO angular contact ball bearing, measuring 95 x 200 x 45 mm and featuring a brass cage, provides a zero-backlash bearing arrangement for combined loads.
The 7319 -B-MP-UO is a single-row rolling bearing made from standard bearing steel (100Cr6) with a bore of 95 mm, an outer diameter of 200 mm and a width of 45 mm. Manufactured to tolerance class P0/PN (corresponding to ABEC 1), this open bearing is suitable for demanding industrial applications. The manufacturer, FAG, equips this version with a guided brass cage, which is designed for operating temperatures ranging from -20 to +150 degrees.
In addition to radial forces, this single-row angular contact ball bearing primarily absorbs unidirectional axial forces. Thanks to its contact angle of 40 degrees, the design can handle high axial load components. Designers primarily use this bearing type in shaft mountings where precise guidance and combined loads are required. As this is an open bearing without an integrated seal, lubrication must be supplied via the surrounding housing.
The suffix UO denotes a universal design for paired mounting. When two bearings of this specification are assembled in an O or X arrangement, the bearing set achieves a play-free condition without the need for additional shims. This simplifies alignment during shaft assembly and ensures a defined force distribution. The solid brass cage provides high guidance stability for the rolling elements, even under thermal conditions up to +150 degrees.
The dimensions are 95 mm internal diameter, 200 mm external diameter and 45 mm width. The outer ring is cylindrical in design and has neither a flange nor a groove. It is manufactured to the standard tolerance class P0/PN or ABEC 1.
The designation ‘UO’ stands for a universal design intended for installation in pairs. When two bearings are fitted in an O or X configuration, a play-free bearing arrangement is automatically achieved. This eliminates the need for any additional adjustment of the bearing rings during installation.
A contact angle of 40 degrees directs the forces diagonally across the radial plane through the rolling bearing. Compared with smaller contact angles, this geometry allows for a higher axial load capacity. The bearing is designed to accommodate high axial forces in one direction whilst simultaneously carrying a radial load.
FAG fits this variant with a brass cage (designation MP). Solid brass cages are characterised by their dimensional stability and strength. They prove particularly effective at elevated operating temperatures and under demanding lubrication conditions in industrial applications.
The bearing is designed for an operating range between -20 and +150 degrees. As it is supplied as an open rolling bearing without sealing washers, the actual operating limits depend largely on the lubricant selected for the housing and the surrounding sealing elements.
As an open roller bearing, this version is not pre-lubricated at the factory. You must lubricate the bearing with a suitable lubricating oil or roller bearing grease via the housing system during installation. The open design allows for unhindered lubricant exchange during operation.
