The FAG 32019-X tapered roller bearing, with dimensions of 95 × 145 × 32 mm, can accommodate high radial loads as well as axial loads on one side.
The 32019 -X tapered roller bearing is a single-row radial roller bearing in standard design. Owing to the tapered arrangement of the rolling elements, this design is particularly suitable for shaft mountings where radial and axial forces occur simultaneously. The complete FAG bearing comprises an inner ring with a set of rollers and the corresponding outer ring. With a bore of 95 mm, an outer diameter of 145 mm and a width of 32 mm, the unit meets demanding industrial requirements.
Tapered roller bearings of this design are primarily used for combined loads on rotating shafts. As single-row tapered roller bearings, by their design, can only accommodate axial forces in one direction, they are usually installed in pairs, facing each other, in practice. Typical applications include gearbox construction and conventional industrial drives. The geometry of the raceways dissipates the forces and promotes smooth rolling during rolling contact.
This bearing features a sheet steel cage that guides the tapered rollers and keeps them spaced apart. The permissible temperature range extends from –30 to +120 degrees and covers standard operating conditions in everyday industrial use. Manufactured to tolerance class P0/PN or ABEC 1, the component complies with the standardised normal tolerance. As the inner and outer rings are separable, you can mount the components separately onto the shaft and housing as required.
The dimensions are 95 mm internal diameter (bore), 145 mm external diameter and 32 mm overall width. These determine the installation space required on the shaft and within the housing bore.
In a single-row configuration, the bearing accommodates combined radial forces and single-sided axial forces. To accommodate axial forces acting from both sides, it is usually fitted in pairs with a second bearing mounted in a mirror-image configuration.
Tapered roller bearings of this design are not self-retaining. The inner ring forms a single unit with the cage and the rollers, whilst the outer ring has no flange. This allows both components to be fitted separately.
The permissible operating range is between -30 and +120 degrees. Within this temperature range, the components retain their dimensional stability, provided that the chosen lubrication system is also suited to the relevant operating temperatures.
The P0/PN classification corresponds to ABEC Class 1 and denotes the standard tolerance for rolling bearings. It defines the permissible dimensional and runout deviations for the vast majority of conventional industrial and gearbox applications.
The unit comprises a sheet steel cage which guides the tapered rollers and maintains a uniform spacing between the rolling elements. The sheet steel construction keeps the unit’s own weight low and is suitable for lubrication with grease or oil.
