The SKF 22324 CCK/W33 self-aligning roller bearing, with a 120 mm tapered bore and an outer diameter of 260 mm, reliably supports heavy radial loads.
The 22324 CCK/W33 self-aligning roller bearing belongs to SKF’s Explorer performance class. With dimensions of 120 mm bore, 260 mm outer diameter and 86 mm width, this open roller bearing is designed for demanding industrial applications. The design, made from standard 100Cr6 bearing steel, automatically compensates for misalignment. The integrated sheet steel cage guides the rolling elements precisely at operating temperatures ranging from -30 to +200 degrees.
This self-aligning roller bearing is used where high radial forces occur in conjunction with shaft deflection or misalignment. The spherical outer ring raceway enables angular misalignment to be compensated for directly within the bearing. Thanks to the open design without integrated seals, lubricant reaches the rolling elements unhindered, whilst the bearing compensates for misalignment between the inner and outer rings.
The design with a tapered bore with a taper ratio of 1:12 allows for fixed mounting directly onto tapered shaft seats or, using clamping and withdrawal sleeves, onto cylindrical shafts. Grease or lubricating oil can be fed directly into the raceway via the lubrication groove with lubrication holes integrated into the outer ring (feature W33). The bearing combines standard dimensional accuracy PN with increased running accuracy to tolerance class P5.
This roller bearing has an inside diameter of 120 mm, an outside diameter of 260 mm and a total width of 86 mm. The bore is tapered at a ratio of 1:12.
The suffix indicates specific design features: CC stands for the version with a sheet steel cage, the K indicates a tapered bore, and W33 denotes the lubrication groove with lubrication holes on the outer ring.
The bearing is manufactured with a standard radial clearance. This standard clearance is suitable for standard mounting fits and normal operating temperatures without extreme thermal expansion of the shaft.
The permissible operating temperature range is between -30 and +200 degrees. Manufactured from 100Cr6 roller bearing steel and fitted with a sheet steel cage, the unit is designed for this range of applications.
As an open bearing, it has no integrated sealing washers. Relubrication takes place via the lubrication groove and the lubrication holes in the outer ring, directly into the interior of the bearing.
The bearing combines standard dimensional accuracy (PN) for the external dimensions with enhanced running accuracy of class P5. This ensures smooth, low-vibration operation of the rotating components.
