The SKF 22319 E self-aligning roller bearing, with dimensions of 95x200x67 mm and P5 precision, offers high load-carrying capacity for heavy radial loads in mechanical engineering.
This SKF 22319 E self-aligning roller bearing is an open roller bearing made from standard bearing steel (100Cr6) in the Explorer design. Two symmetrically arranged rows of rollers enable the compensation of misalignment and shaft deflection between the inner and outer rings. With a bore of 95 mm, an outer diameter of 200 mm and a width of 67 mm, this double-row bearing accommodates high radial forces as well as combined axial loads. A dimensionally stable sheet steel cage guides the rollers evenly along the raceways.
The 22319 E self-aligning roller bearing is designed for applications involving high impact forces and heavy combined loads. Thanks to the spherical outer ring raceway, the bearing automatically compensates for misalignment and load-induced shaft deflection. The design is suitable for both fixed and floating bearing arrangements. With a permissible temperature range of –30 to +200 degrees, the component is also suitable for operating environments subject to thermal stress.
The combination of dimensional accuracy PN and increased running accuracy P5 offers a tighter concentricity tolerance for low-vibration operation at higher speeds. The bearing is designed as an open type without integrated seals. Lubricant enters directly into the inner area between the rolling elements via the lubrication groove with lubrication holes in the outer ring, which facilitates regular relubrication during operation.
The bearing has an inside diameter of 95 mm, an outside diameter of 200 mm and a width of 67 mm. These dimensions determine the space required and enable precise fitting onto suitable shafts and into appropriate heavy-duty bearing housings.
The designation ‘PN’ refers to the standard dimensional accuracy of connection dimensions such as bore and outer diameter. Class P5 denotes a tighter tolerance for running accuracy. This results in lower radial and axial runout during operation, which improves smoothness of running and measurably reduces vibrations in the drivetrain.
This rolling bearing is manufactured with standard radial clearance. Standard clearance is used as the benchmark for typical fit conditions on shafts and housings at normal operating temperatures. It helps to ensure that, following the radial press-fitting of the inner ring, the required operating clearance for smooth running is maintained.
As an open roller bearing, this design does not feature sealing washers. The outer ring has a lubrication groove with lubrication holes. Lubricant can be fed directly between the two rows of rollers through these openings, which promotes even distribution of the lubricant within the bearing.
The permissible temperature range is between -30 degrees and +200 degrees Celsius. The 100Cr6 rolling bearing steel and the sheet steel cage retain their dimensional stability within this range. For the actual application, the thermal stability of the selected grease or lubricating oil must also be taken into account.
The sheet steel cage maintains the barrel-shaped roller elements at a precise distance from one another and prevents direct contact between adjacent rolling elements. Sheet metal cages are characterised by their low weight, take up little space inside the bearing and provide ample space for the circulation of lubricants.
