The FAG 1310 -TVH-C3 self-aligning ball bearing, measuring 50x110x27 mm and featuring increased clearance, provides reliable angular compensation in the event of deflection.
The 1310 -TVH-C3 self-aligning ball bearing is a double-row rolling bearing made from standard bearing steel (100Cr6) for demanding industrial applications. Thanks to the hollow-spherical outer ring raceway, the bearing self-aligns, thereby compensating for misalignment and shaft deflection during operation. This design is from FAG and features a cylindrical bore with a diameter of 50 mm, an outer diameter of 110 mm and a width of 27 mm. You will receive an open bearing to tolerance class P0/PN (ABEC 1).
This design is used where shafts deflect elastically or where housing bores are not precisely aligned due to manufacturing tolerances. The two rows of balls absorb radial loads, whilst the bearing accommodates moderate misalignments between the inner and outer rings without edge pressure. Typical applications include shaft mountings with larger bearing clearances, where elastic deflection may occur under operational loads.
The integrated polyamide cage ensures low inertial forces and supports quiet ball operation within a temperature range of –30 to +120 degrees Celsius. The designation C3 indicates a slightly increased radial clearance. This increased operating clearance helps to prevent the rolling elements from jamming when press fits on the shaft expand the inner ring or when temperature differences occur between the inner and outer rings. As an open component, the bearing can be flexibly integrated into the relevant lubrication system.
The bearing has an inside diameter of 50 mm, an outside diameter of 110 mm and a width across flats of 27 mm. It is designed as a double-row self-aligning ball bearing with a cylindrical bore.
The abbreviation TVH denotes a polyamide cage that ensures low-friction operation. The suffix C3 indicates a slightly increased radial bearing clearance, which compensates for thermal expansion or larger fit allowances during operation.
The outer ring has a continuous, hollow spherical raceway in which the two rows of balls in the inner ring can pivot freely. This allows the bearing to automatically adjust its angular misalignment within permissible limits in the event of shaft deflection or misalignment of the housings.
The combination of standard roller bearing steel 100Cr6 and the polyamide cage is designed for a temperature range of -30 to +120 degrees Celsius. Within these limits, the cage material and rings retain their dimensional stability and mechanical strength.
As an open component without sealing washers, the bearing is not pre-filled with lubricant by the manufacturer. Lubrication is provided by the surrounding housing structure, using either grease or oil, depending on the operating conditions of the specific application.
This roller bearing is manufactured to the standard tolerance P0, which, in international terminology, corresponds to class PN and ABEC 1. It is therefore suitable for the vast majority of standard industrial applications.
