The FAG NU2319 -E-XL-TVP2 cylindrical roller bearing offers high radial load-carrying capacity as a non-locating bearing with dimensions of 95x200x67 mm for demanding industrial applications.
The single-row cylindrical roller bearing NU2319 -E-XL-TVP2 from FAG withstands high radial forces and compensates for axial length changes in the shaft directly within the bearing. Due to the line contact between the cylindrical rollers and the raceways, this rolling bearing is suitable for high radial loads. The NU design features two fixed flanges on the outer ring, whilst the inner ring is flangeless. This allows the inner ring to be removed from both sides, which facilitates installation and maintenance in gearboxes and machinery.
This floating bearing is used in designs where thermal expansion of the shaft must be compensated for without causing stress. Typical applications include bearings in industrial gearboxes and electric motors subject to high radial loads. The bearing supports the shaft purely radially and requires an additional fixed bearing for axial fixation. Thanks to the stable roller guidance, the unit is designed for continuous radial loads during plant operation.
The TVP2 polyamide cage guides the rollers quietly and is characterised by its low weight. This choice of material reduces inertial forces during acceleration and enables an operating temperature range of –30 to +120 degrees Celsius. As an open roller bearing without integrated seals, the bearing requires external sealing via the housing as well as controlled grease or oil lubrication. It is manufactured to tolerance class P0/PN (ABEC 1) with normal radial clearance for standard installation situations.
The NU design features two fixed flanges on the outer ring and a flangeless inner ring. As a result, the bearing functions purely as a floating bearing, compensating for shaft displacement in both axial directions. Furthermore, the inner ring can be removed separately from the outer assembly for installation and maintenance.
The bearing has an inner diameter of 95 mm, an outer diameter of 200 mm and a width of 67 mm. These dimensions provide a wide contact surface for the rollers and enable the bearing to withstand high radial forces during operation.
The TVP2 cage is made of polyamide and guides the cylindrical rollers through the bearing with minimal friction. The low mass of the material reduces inertial forces, which contributes to smooth running and reduced noise levels during operation.
The permissible operating range is between -30 and +120 degrees Celsius. This range is determined by the durability of the polyamide cage and the dimensional stability of the bearing rings. This operating range must be taken into account when selecting a lubricant.
This is an open bearing without integrated seals. To keep contaminants out and prevent lubricant loss, sealing is provided by the surrounding housing structure. Depending on the application, lubrication can be carried out using grease or via an oil circulation system.
Normal bearing clearance refers to the standard radial clearance of the bearing when it is in its unmounted state. Once the bearing has been press-fitted onto the shaft and installed in the housing, this clearance is reduced to the required operating clearance due to the fit allowance.
