The SKF NU326 ECM cylindrical roller bearing, with a 130 mm bore, brass cage and a separable inner ring, offers high radial load-carrying capacity for demanding industrial applications.
The NU326 ECM cylindrical roller bearing is a single-row radial roller bearing designed for high mechanical loads. With key dimensions of 130 mm inner diameter, 280 mm outer diameter and 58 mm width, this unit can accommodate substantial radial forces. Designed as an open bearing, this model can be flexibly integrated into existing lubrication systems. This design is used where rigid mountings with high load-carrying capacity are required.
The NU326 ECM cylindrical roller bearing is designed for use as a pure non-locating bearing. In the NU design, two fixed flanges on the outer ring guide the cylindrical rolling elements, whilst the inner ring has no flanges. This enables the component to compensate freely for axial length changes, such as those caused by thermal expansion of shafts. Typical applications include bearing arrangements subject to high radial forces, where operational longitudinal displacements must be accommodated.
The design with a brass cage gives the bearing high mechanical stability against vibrations and shock loads. Furthermore, the separable design simplifies handling: as the inner ring can be removed from both sides, the inner and outer rings can be mounted separately onto the shaft and housing. The permissible temperature range is from –30 to +150 degrees Celsius. Dimensional accuracy complies with Class P0/PN (ABEC 1), whilst running accuracy in accordance with Class P6 (ABEC 3) ensures precise guidance.
The bearing has an inner diameter of 130 mm, an outer diameter of 280 mm and a width of 58 mm. These dimensions are crucial for ensuring a precise fit when mounting the bearing on shafts and in housing bores.
In the NU design, the outer ring has two fixed flanges to guide the rollers, whilst the inner ring has no flanges. As a result, the component functions purely as a non-locating bearing. It accommodates radial loads only and allows for axial movement of the shaft within the housing.
The integrated brass cage offers high dimensional stability under dynamic loads. The material is suitable for environments subject to vibrations and impact loads. Furthermore, brass exhibits favourable emergency running properties, which is advantageous under demanding operating conditions.
The approved operating temperature range is from -30 to +150 degrees Celsius. This range is primarily determined by the dimensional stability of the bearing rings and the material of the brass cage. The actual usable range depends on the lubricant selected.
This model combines standard dimensional accuracy in accordance with Class P0 or ABEC 1 with enhanced running accuracy in accordance with Class P6 or ABEC 3. This combination ensures smooth concentricity whilst meeting standardised requirements for housing seats.
As an open bearing, this design does not feature integrated sealing washers. This allows for free flushing with lubricating oil or the use of application-specific greases. The bearing requires external sealing of the bearing housing in the machine casing to protect the rolling element system from contamination.
