The SKF NUP207 ECP cylindrical roller bearing supports shafts axially in both directions and withstands high radial loads at 35x72x17 mm.
The NUP207 ECP cylindrical roller bearing is a single-row roller bearing with an optimised internal design for demanding industrial applications. Thanks to the line contact between the cylindrical rollers and the hardened raceways, this rolling bearing can withstand high radial loads. When used as a fixed bearing, the NUP design also provides axial fixation of the shaft on both sides within the housing.
Designs featuring this type are used where heavy radial loads are combined with axial guidance on both sides. The combination of two fixed flanges on the outer ring, one fixed flange on the inner ring and a loose flange plate accommodates axial guidance forces in both directions. As this is an open bearing without an integrated seal, the component can be integrated directly into existing lubrication circuits.
The polyamide cage contributes to quiet, low-friction roller operation and reduces the weight of the rotating components within the rolling bearing. The optimised internal design increases the load-carrying capacity of the roller series with key dimensions of a 35 mm bore, 72 mm outer diameter and 17 mm width. Whilst the dimensional accuracy corresponds to the standard P0 class, the P6 (ABEC 3) running accuracy ensures precise concentricity at operating temperatures ranging from –30 to +120 °C.
The NUP design features two fixed flanges on the outer ring and one fixed flange and one loose flange disc on the inner ring. As a result, the roller bearing functions as a fully-fledged fixed bearing, guiding a shaft in both axial directions and accommodating high radial forces.
This single-row roller bearing has a bore of 35 mm, an outer diameter of 72 mm and a width of 17 mm. The outer ring has no lubrication groove or lubrication hole, so lubrication can be applied via the end faces.
The suffix ECP indicates an optimised internal design with increased load-carrying capacity and a polyamide cage. This roller cage is characterised by low friction and is suitable for operating temperatures ranging from -30 to +120 °C.
The bearing combines two tolerance grades: the dimensional accuracy for the bore, outer diameter and width complies with the standard class P0 (or ABEC 1). The running accuracy of the rings corresponds to precision class P6 (or ABEC 3), which enhances concentricity during operation.
This component is manufactured with a standard radial bearing clearance. This design is suitable for standard fit selections on shafts and housings, as well as for standard operating conditions where there are no extreme temperature differences between the inner and outer rings.
An open bearing does not come fitted with sealing washers ex-works. To prevent the ingress of dirt and the leakage of oil or grease, the seal is usually provided by the surrounding housing structure.
