At a glance: The FAG 7319 -B-MP angular contact ball bearing handles combined loads with a 40-degree contact angle, a bore diameter of 95 mm and an outer diameter of 200 mm.
The FAG 7319 -B-MP angular contact ball bearing is a single-row rolling bearing made from standard bearing steel (100Cr6) for demanding industrial applications. Thanks to its internal geometry with a contact angle of 40 degrees, this bearing supports radial forces as well as single-sided axial loads. With dimensions of 95 mm bore, 200 mm outer diameter and 45 mm width, the design is suitable for heavy-duty shaft mountings. The open design, without sealing washers, allows for flexible integration into existing lubrication systems using oil or grease.
Applications involving combined loads require rolling bearings that can accommodate high axial forces in one direction. The 7319 -B-MP angular contact ball bearing transmits these loads specifically via its angularly arranged raceways. It is often fitted in pairs to counteract axial forces from both directions. Design engineers and maintenance technicians turn to this bearing when standard deep-groove ball bearings reach the limits of their axial load-carrying capacity. The solid outer ring, without a flange or groove, fits precisely into standardised housing bores.
The designation letter ‘B’ indicates a contact angle of 40 degrees, meaning the bearing is designed for high axial loads. The solid brass cage (MP) guides the rolling elements reliably in the event of vibrations or thermal stress. This model covers a temperature range from -20 to +150 degrees. As the bearing is of an open design, you should select the lubricant appropriate to the operating conditions. When selecting the bearing, take into account tolerance class P0 (ABEC 1) and the standard radial bearing clearance for regular fit conditions.
The bearing has an inner diameter of 95 mm, an outer diameter of 200 mm and a width of 45 mm. The outer ring has neither a groove nor a flange, which means that this single-row component can be fitted flush into cylindrical housings. Maintenance engineers and designers use these key dimensions to check the dimensional accuracy for the respective shaft design.
The letter B denotes a contact angle of 40 degrees, which is designed to accommodate high axial forces in one direction. The designation MP stands for a solid brass cage. This material proves to be dimensionally stable when guiding the rolling elements, even under vibrations, shock loads and elevated operating temperatures.
This open roller bearing, made from standard bearing steel (100Cr6) with a brass cage, has a permissible operating temperature range of -20 to +150 degrees. As no elastic sealing lips are fitted, the actual temperature limit during operation depends largely on the thermal stability of the selected grease or lubricating oil.
As an open bearing, this design has no integrated sealing or cover plates. Designs featuring external sealing within the machine housing benefit from this design, as lubricants such as oil mist, circulating oil or greases can reach the raceways unimpeded. Furthermore, there is no frictional resistance caused by sealing lips coming into contact, which reduces heat build-up during operation.
The model is manufactured with standard radial bearing clearance and complies with the standardised tolerance class P0 (equivalent to ABEC 1). This standard tolerance is suitable for standard mechanical engineering applications with conventional fits on the shaft and in the housing. The actual operating clearance is only established during assembly when the bearing is brought into contact with a counter-bearing.
A single-row angular contact ball bearing accommodates radial loads as well as axial forces in exactly one direction. Due to the angled alignment of the contact lines between the inner and outer rings, an internal axial force is always generated under radial load. For this reason, technicians usually fit the bearing in pairs, with a second bearing arranged in the opposite direction.
