The SKF 7313 BECBF angular contact ball bearing, with a 65 mm bore and an outer diameter of 140 mm, can accommodate high radial loads as well as unilateral axial loads.
The 7313 BECBF angular contact ball bearing is an open, single-row rolling bearing made from standard bearing steel (100Cr6) with a standard radial clearance. Thanks to the angularly offset raceways, the design is suitable for combined loads where radial and axial forces act simultaneously. A sheet steel cage guides the rolling elements within a temperature range of -20 to +150 degrees. This SKF rolling bearing complies with the standard tolerance class P0/PN or ABEC 1 and features an outer ring without a flange or groove.
This angular contact ball bearing transmits axial forces specifically in one direction, as the raceways are offset from one another in the axial direction. The 7313 BECBF design is primarily used where, in addition to radial forces, defined guiding forces in the longitudinal direction are also present. As an open bearing, the assembly can be flexibly integrated into existing oil or grease lubrication systems. When arranged in an O or X configuration, the bearing pair has minimal axial clearance, enabling play-free or precisely defined shaft guidance.
The nominal contact angle of 40 degrees gives this angular contact ball bearing a high axial load-carrying capacity in the intended load direction. If the axial load acts in both directions, fit two single-row bearings facing each other. The BECBF design is factory-tuned to ensure a controlled, low axial clearance in both O and X arrangements. When installing, take the dimensions 65x140x33 mm into account and ensure the housing is properly sealed against contamination, as the open bearing does not provide any integrated protection against dirt.
The bearing has an internal diameter of 65 mm, an external diameter of 140 mm and a width of 33 mm. These dimensions correspond to the standardised main dimensions of the 7313 series and define the correct fit on the shaft and in the housing.
The contact angle describes the force transmission between the inner and outer rings via the balls, which are inclined relative to the radial plane. An angle of 40 degrees provides a high axial load capacity and is suitable for bearing arrangements where axial forces predominate in one direction.
The suffix BECBF denotes a single-row angular contact ball bearing with a 40-degree contact angle and an optimised internal design. This design is intended for installation in sets: when two bearings are fitted in an O or X arrangement, a defined, small amount of axial clearance is automatically established.
The permissible operating range is from -20 to +150 degrees. The standard 100Cr6 rolling bearing steel used, as well as the sheet steel cage, are designed for this temperature range, provided that a lubricant suitable for these operating temperatures is used.
As this roller bearing is designed without sealing or cover plates, the lubricant reaches the raceways directly. You can operate the bearing using either grease or oil. The external housing seal protects the bearing housing from contamination and keeps the lubricant within the bearing chamber.
The product is manufactured to the standard tolerance class P0/PN, which corresponds to the ABEC 1 classification. This standard tolerance meets the usual requirements in general mechanical engineering, gearbox manufacturing and plant engineering for cylindrical bearing seats on shafts and housing bores.
