The SKF 32026 X tapered roller bearing, with dimensions of 130 × 200 × 45 mm, offers a high load-carrying capacity for combined radial and axial loads in mechanical engineering.
The 32026 X tapered roller bearing is an open, single-row roller bearing from SKF designed for demanding industrial applications. With a bore of 130 mm, an outer diameter of 200 mm and a width of 45 mm, the bearing accommodates high radial forces and single-sided axial forces. The tapered design of the rollers and raceways creates a high-load-carrying line contact. Maintenance engineers and original equipment manufacturers specifically use this complete tapered roller bearing for compact shaft mountings with high rigidity.
Combined loads consisting of high radial forces and unidirectional axial forces form the typical application profile for this design. It is primarily used in industrial gearboxes, pumps, compressors and heavy-duty drive shafts. As a single bearing can only accommodate axial forces in one direction, they are usually mounted in pairs, positioned mirror-image to each other in an O or X arrangement. This arrangement guides the shaft axially in both directions and allows for precise adjustment of the operating clearance.
The SKF Explorer design is characterised by optimised roller profiles and finely machined contact surfaces on the raceway. This design promotes the formation of a lubricating film and reduces friction losses during operation. The sheet steel cage maintains the rolling elements at a fixed distance within the specified temperature range of -30 to +120 degrees. Manufactured to tolerance class P0/PN or ABEC 1, the open design requires an application-specific environmental seal and lubricant supply.
With an internal diameter of 130 mm, an external diameter of 200 mm and a width of 45 mm, the tapered roller bearing complies with standardised key dimensions. These dimensions allow it to be fitted onto suitable shaft seats and into appropriate bearing housings in industrial mechanical engineering.
This single-row bearing accommodates high radial loads as well as axial forces in one direction. The angle of the tapered raceways determines the force transmission ratio. To accommodate axial forces in both directions, a second tapered roller bearing is fitted in a mirror-image configuration as a counter-bearing.
Explorer is an optimised performance class from SKF featuring improved raceway and roller surfaces. This design promotes the formation of a lubricating film and reduces friction in the contact area. This contributes to high operational reliability and low heat generation under high loads.
The permissible temperature range is from -30 to +120 degrees. Within these limits, the dimensional stability of the bearing rings and the strength of the sheet steel cage are maintained. The lubricant used must be suitable for this temperature range.
The integrated sheet steel cage keeps the conical rollers at a uniform distance from one another and prevents direct contact between the rolling elements. The component is characterised by its low weight and high strength, and is equally suitable for both grease and oil lubrication.
With a tolerance class of P0/PN or ABEC 1, the bearing complies with the standardised tolerances for dimensional and running accuracy. This design meets the usual accuracy requirements in general mechanical engineering and industrial gearbox manufacture, offering reliable dimensional stability.
