The single-row SKF tapered roller bearing 32007 X (35x62x18 mm) is suitable for combined loads at operating temperatures ranging from -30 to +120 degrees.
The 32007 X tapered roller bearing is an open, single-row roller bearing from SKF in the Explorer series. Its main dimensions are a bore diameter of 35 mm, an outer diameter of 62 mm and a total width of 18 mm. As a complete tapered roller bearing, the unit consists of the inner ring with a roller cage and the separate outer ring. Thanks to the line contact of the tapered rolling elements, the component simultaneously transmits high radial forces and single-sided axial forces in gearboxes and shaft bearings.
This single-row bearing is primarily installed where shafts are subjected to heavy radial loads and axial thrust forces from a single direction. Typical applications can be found in general mechanical engineering as well as in gearbox stages for shaft bearings. As tapered roller bearings, by design, can only accommodate axial forces in one direction, designers usually fit a second bearing in a mirror-image configuration opposite the first. The version with a sheet steel cage is suitable for both stationary drives and mobile machinery.
As the bearing is designed to be disassembled, the inner and outer rings can be fitted separately onto the shaft and housing. This simplifies handling during maintenance and mass production. The axial clearance is adjusted only during installation via the mating bearing. The operating temperature range is from -30 to +120 degrees. Manufactured to tolerance class P0/PN or ABEC 1, the component meets the standard requirements for dimensional and concentricity accuracy for industrial use.
A single-row roller bearing with a 35 mm bore, 62 mm outer diameter and 18 mm width, manufactured by SKF in the Explorer version. Thanks to the tapered geometry of the raceways and rollers, it can accommodate both radial and single-direction axial loads. A sheet steel cage guides the rolling elements along the raceway.
The bearing has an internal diameter of 35 mm, an external diameter of 62 mm and a width of 18 mm. Before fitting, check the dimensions of the shaft and housing seats to ensure that the separate bearing rings fit correctly.
The permissible operating temperature range is between -30 and +120 degrees Celsius. Within these thermal limits, the dimensional stability of the rings and the mechanical strength of the sheet steel cage are maintained. Always select the lubricant used – such as grease or lubricating oil – to suit the specific operating temperatures of the respective environment.
In this type of roller bearing, the inner ring and the roller cage form a single unit, whilst the outer ring can be removed without a flange. This design simplifies installation in housings, as you can press both rings in independently of one another and then align them axially when assembling the unit.
This classification denotes the standard tolerance for industrial rolling bearings with regard to dimensional, geometric and running accuracy. Bearings in this tolerance class are suitable for standard applications in gearbox and general mechanical engineering where there are no increased precision requirements. They support cost-effective operation within normal manufacturing tolerances.
As this is an open bearing without integrated seals, lubrication is provided by the surrounding machinery or by manually filling it with grease. Lubricants can circulate freely between the inner and outer rings. Protect the bearing housing structurally against dirt or moisture using external sealing elements such as shaft seals.
