The SKF 32019-x tapered roller bearing accommodates combined radial and axial loads and has an outer diameter of 145 mm and a width of 32 mm.
The 32019-x tapered roller bearing is suitable as a radial roller bearing for demanding applications involving simultaneous radial and axial loading. The tapered rollers run on inclined raceways in the rings, enabling the bearing to specifically absorb axial forces in one direction. As the inner ring, including the roller set, and the flangeless outer ring can be fitted separately, this SKF component can be incorporated into suitable designs quickly and flexibly.
This design is the preferred choice when mounted shafts and components must simultaneously withstand high radial loads and one-sided axial forces. Typical applications can be found in general mechanical engineering, as well as in gearbox shafts and axle bearings. As single-row tapered roller bearings, by their very nature, can only accommodate axial loads in one direction, in practice they are usually fitted in pairs in an O or X arrangement opposite a second mating bearing, in order to guide the shaft precisely on both sides.
The integrated sheet steel cage maintains an even spacing between the tapered rollers and withstands the mechanical stresses encountered during operation. The metal cage is resistant to common lubricants and covers the specified operating temperature range of –30 to +120 °C. This ensures stable operation in industrial applications with fluctuating temperatures or increased thermal demands.
This roller bearing accommodates radial forces as well as axial forces from one direction. The tapered rollers ensure line contact, which enables high rigidity and load-carrying capacity under combined loads.
The bearing has an outer diameter of 145 mm and a total width of 32 mm. These dimensions are crucial when designing and selecting the appropriate bearing seats in the housing.
The permissible operating temperature ranges from -30 to +120 °C. To ensure trouble-free operation, the lubricant used must be selected to suit the respective ambient operating temperature.
The inner ring with roller cage and the outer ring can be fitted separately. This simplifies installation and allows the axial bearing clearance to be adjusted when aligning two bearings against each other.
The cage keeps the tapered rollers evenly spaced to minimise friction and wear. The sheet steel construction offers mechanical strength and is compatible with standard industrial lubricants without restriction.
