The SKF 6330 M deep groove ball bearing, with a 150 mm bore, brass cage and open design, provides a solid foundation for demanding industrial applications.
This single-row deep-groove ball bearing 6330 M, made from standard rolling-element bearing steel 100Cr6, is primarily designed to withstand radial loads; however, due to its design, it can also accommodate moderate axial forces in both directions. As the bearing is of open design, it has no integrated sealing washers. A guided brass cage maintains the rolling elements at a precise distance from one another. With dimensions of 150 × 320 × 65 mm, the component complies with tolerance class P0/PN or ABEC 1 and features a standard radial clearance for standardised mounting conditions.
Design engineers prefer to use the 6330 M deep groove ball bearing in bearing arrangements where high radial forces and additional axial loads are present. With a permissible temperature range of –20 to +150 degrees, the component is suitable for environments subject to continuous thermal stress. As the outer ring is designed without a flange or circumferential groove, the bearing can be fitted directly into cylindrically machined housing bores.
The suffix ‘M’ denotes the version with a brass cage, which is characterised by high strength and good emergency running properties. The cage reliably withstands loads caused by vibrations and accelerations. As the design is open and is not factory-greased, the bearing housing requires external sealing as well as lubrication as required, using grease or lubricating oil.
With a bore of 150 mm, an outside diameter of 320 mm and a total width of 65 mm, the component complies with the standardised main dimensions for this size. The single-row ball bearing has a cylindrical outer ring without a flange or groove.
The suffix ‘M’ stands for a brass cage. This type of cage offers high strength under mechanical stress and guides the rolling elements evenly within the raceway.
In the absence of factory-fitted sealing washers, the lubricant is supplied via the housing system. Depending on the operating conditions and speed, either grease or circulating oil may be used as the lubricant.
The permissible operating temperature range is from -20 to +150 degrees. The standard roller bearing steel 100Cr6 and the brass cage are specified for use within this temperature range.
The component is manufactured with standard radial bearing clearance for standard fit conditions. The manufacturing accuracy complies with the standardised tolerance class P0/PN, which is classified internationally as ABEC 1.
