The 4310 -B-TVH double-row deep-groove ball bearing from FAG Wälzlager, with dimensions of 50x110x40 mm, offers a high load-carrying capacity with normal radial clearance for a wide range of industrial applications.
The 4310 -B-TVH deep groove ball bearing from FAG Wälzlager is a double-row radial ball bearing made from standard 100Cr6 bearing steel. Thanks to the two rows of balls, the design can withstand higher radial forces than single-row versions of the same size. With dimensions of 50 mm bore, 110 mm outer diameter and 40 mm width, the component remains compact. The open bearing has no integrated sealing rings. It is primarily used in bearing locations where lubricating oil or grease is specifically supplied from the outside.
Double-row deep-groove ball bearings are primarily used in bearing locations subject to high radial loads where there is insufficient installation space for roller bearings. Typical applications include shaft mountings in general mechanical engineering subject to combined loads. The design accommodates not only radial forces but also axial forces in both directions. As the outer ring is manufactured without a flange or groove, the bearing can be fitted flush into cylindrical housing bores. The permissible temperature range of -30 to +120 degrees supports a wide variety of industrial operating conditions.
The designation TVH refers to a lightweight polyamide cage that maintains an even spacing between the balls in both rows. The material dampens vibrations and ensures smooth running within the machine. When designing the bearing arrangement, it is advisable to specify the standard radial clearance and tolerance class P0 or ABEC 1. As the bearing is of an open design, the assembly requires an external housing seal and a continuous supply of lubricant.
The double-row design enables the bearing to withstand increased radial loads and combines this with a dimensionally stable polyamide cage. The rings and rolling elements are made from 100Cr6. With a 50 mm bore and an 110 mm outer diameter, the component offers standardised mounting dimensions with normal bearing clearance and standard precision in accordance with tolerance class P0 or ABEC 1.
With a bore of 50 mm, an outside diameter of 110 mm and a width of 40 mm, the bearing complies with standardised mounting dimensions. Due to its double-row design, it has a wider overall width than single-row variants in the same diameter series, but in return offers an increased support width within the housing.
The open design, which does not feature integrated cover plates or sealing discs, allows for the unhindered replacement of lubricants such as oil or grease inside the housing. Furthermore, it eliminates the friction caused by sealing lips coming into contact with one another. To keep out contaminants, the bearing housing must be fitted with separate external seals.
The standard radial bearing clearance refers to the standardised radial clearance in the unloaded state prior to installation. It is designed for conventional shaft and housing fits. The radial operating clearance is reduced after press-fitting to the appropriate dimension to ensure play-free or low-play operation.
The permissible temperature range is from -30 to +120 degrees. The main factor limiting the maximum operating temperature is the polyamide cage, which loses mechanical stability above this limit. The lubricant selected must also be suitable for this range.
The inner and outer rings, as well as the rolling elements, are made from standard roller bearing steel 100Cr6. This material withstands high contact pressures at the points of contact between the balls and the raceways and retains its dimensional stability under load.
