The SKF 6313/VA201 deep groove ball bearing, measuring 65x140x33 mm, provides heat-resistant support for demanding industrial environments up to +250 degrees.
This single-row deep-groove ball bearing 6313 /VA201 is designed as an open bearing and is manufactured by SKF. Fitted with a sheet steel cage and a special grease, the component covers a temperature range from –40 to +250 degrees. It is manufactured to tolerance class P0/PN or ABEC 1. Thanks to its design without a flange or groove on the outer ring, the rolling bearing can be fitted directly into cylindrical housing bores.
This deep-groove ball bearing is designed for applications with high operating temperatures up to +250 degrees. The design is suitable for applications where rolling bearings are exposed to continuous heat. The open design allows for direct heat dissipation during operation, whilst the integrated special grease maintains lubrication under sustained thermal loads. The single-row raceway geometry primarily absorbs radial forces.
Both the bearing rings and the rolling elements are manganese-phosphated. This chemical surface treatment provides protection against corrosion and improves the running-in behaviour of the rolling elements. In conjunction with the significantly increased radial clearance, the bearing compensates for operational thermal expansion of the shaft. This helps to prevent the rolling elements from seizing at high operating temperatures and supports consistent concentricity during extreme temperature fluctuations.
The bearing has a bore of 65 mm, an outer diameter of 140 mm and a width of 33 mm. The outer ring is cylindrical in design and has neither a flange nor a groove, which facilitates installation in standardised housing bores.
The roller bearing is specified for a temperature range of -40 to +250 degrees. Thanks to the use of special temperature-resistant grease and a sheet steel cage, the bearing is designed to withstand high thermal loads.
The significantly increased bearing clearance creates additional radial clearance between the rolling elements and the raceways. This is necessary because the shaft and inner ring expand at high operating temperatures. The increased clearance helps to prevent mechanical stresses and the bearing from seizing up.
Manganese-phosphated rings and rolling elements provide protection against fretting corrosion and chemical influences. Furthermore, the microporous phosphate coating promotes the adhesion of the lubricant, which has a positive effect on the emergency running properties and the running-in process during operation.
As an open roller bearing, this design does not feature any integrated cover plates or sealing discs. Care must therefore be taken during design to ensure that, where necessary, the bearing location is protected against heavy contamination by means of external housing seals.
Manufacturing is carried out to tolerance class P0/PN, which corresponds to ABEC 1. This standard tolerance meets the usual precision requirements for industrial applications in general mechanical and plant engineering.
