The FAG N310 -E-XL-TVP2 cylindrical roller bearing, measuring 50 × 110 × 27 mm, acts as a support bearing to absorb high radial forces and compensate for axial length changes.
The N310 -E-XL-TVP2 cylindrical roller bearing is a single-row rolling bearing from the FAG range. The design features a cylindrical bore of 50 mm, an outer diameter of 110 mm and a width of 27 mm. As this open bearing is designed without an integrated seal, it can be flexibly integrated into lubricated housing designs. Thanks to the modified line contact between the rollers and raceways, the roller bearing can withstand demanding radial loads in industrial applications.
The N310 -E-XL-TVP2 cylindrical roller bearing is primarily used as a non-locating bearing in shaft mountings subject to high radial loads. In the N design, the inner ring has two fixed flanges to guide the rollers, whilst the flangeless outer ring remains removable from both sides. This feature allows for the unrestricted compensation of thermally induced length changes in the shaft relative to the housing. Design engineers and maintenance personnel make use of this separability because it facilitates the separate installation of the inner and outer rings.
The designation TVP2 indicates a solid, windowed cage made of polyamide, which guides the cylindrical rollers. This material reduces the weight of the roller guide and promotes quiet, vibration-damped operation. In conjunction with the standard radial bearing clearance and tolerance class P0 (ABEC 1), the bearing is designed for a temperature range of -30 to +120 degrees. This thermal operating range must be taken into account when selecting the lubricant.
This single-row cylindrical roller bearing from FAG measures 50 × 110 × 27 mm and is designed as an open idler bearing. The outer ring has no flanges and can be removed from either side. A dimensionally stable polyamide cage (TVP2) guides the rollers quietly, whilst the design is rated for high radial loads.
In the N design, the inner ring guides the cylindrical rollers between two fixed flanges, whilst the outer ring has no flanges. This allows the shaft to move axially within the bearing during thermal expansion in operation without causing harmful stresses in the rolling element system.
At FAG, the designation TVP2 refers to a solid polyamide window cage. The material dampens vibrations, reduces the moment of inertia of the moving masses and ensures smooth running. It limits the permissible continuous operating temperature range of the bearing to between -30 and +120 degrees.
The bearing has an inside diameter of 50 mm, an outside diameter of 110 mm and a width of 27 mm. These key dimensions comply with the standardised series and allow for direct replacement in existing housings and shaft seats with identical tolerance dimensions.
As this cylindrical roller bearing is designed as an open type without integrated sealing washers, sealing is provided by the housing. Depending on the type of lubrication and the ambient conditions, shaft seals, gap seals or non-contact labyrinth systems are suitable for this purpose.
The product is manufactured with a standard radial bearing clearance and complies with tolerance class P0 or ABEC 1. This combination is suitable for standard industrial applications with standard fits on the shaft and housing, as well as typical operating temperatures.
