The FAG NJ2215 -E-XL-TVP2 cylindrical roller bearing (75x130x31 mm) withstands high radial loads and supports shafts axially in one direction.
The FAG NJ2215 -E-XL-TVP2 cylindrical roller bearing is a single-row bearing with an inner diameter of 75 mm, an outer diameter of 130 mm and a width of 31 mm. Thanks to its design featuring two flanges on the outer ring and one flange on the inner ring, this version serves as a support bearing. The design accommodates radial forces and supports axial forces on one side. The open bearing has standard radial clearance and operates within a temperature range of -30 to +120 degrees.
This design is suitable for bearing arrangements that primarily absorb radial loads whilst simultaneously guiding the shaft in an axial direction. Thanks to the inner ring being removable from one side, the bearing allows for axial length changes in the opposite direction, which helps to prevent stress concentrations in the machine housing.
Typical applications are found in bearing arrangements with combined guiding forces. As the outer ring is designed without a groove or lubrication bore, lubricant is supplied via the surrounding structure.
The TVP2 polyamide cage guides the rolling elements with low friction and quietly, which keeps dynamic mass forces to a minimum during operation. In conjunction with tolerance class P0/PN or ABEC 1, the rolling bearing fits into standard mechanical engineering fit systems.
As an open bearing, the bearing housing requires external seals to protect against contamination. During assembly, care must be taken to ensure the removable inner ring is correctly aligned so that the axial support acts in the intended direction of force.
A single-row radial roller bearing with line contact between the rollers and raceways, designed to withstand high radial loads. The NJ design features two fixed flanges on the outer ring and one fixed flange on the inner ring, enabling the bearing to withstand axial loads in one direction.
The dimensions are 75 mm bore diameter, 130 mm outer diameter and 31 mm width. These dimensions determine the bearing seat on the shaft and the mounting in the housing.
NJ refers to a support bearing with flanges on both rings, in which the inner ring remains removable from one side. This design allows axial displacement of the shaft in one direction, whilst supporting forces in the opposite direction.
The suffix TVP2 indicates a polyamide cage. This cage material offers low friction, is characterised by its low weight and is designed for operating temperatures ranging from -30 to +120 degrees.
The bearing is manufactured with standard radial bearing clearance, which is designed for typical fit combinations and operating temperatures. The dimensional and running tolerances comply with tolerance class P0/PN or ABEC 1, respectively, in accordance with current standards.
As the bearing is manufactured without integrated seals and without a lubrication groove on the outer ring, grease or lubricating oil is supplied externally via the housing. Protection against contamination is provided by the surrounding structure.
