The SKF NUP310 ECP cylindrical roller bearing, with dimensions of 50x110x27 mm, offers high radial load-carrying capacity and axial guidance on both sides when used as a fixed bearing.
The NUP310 ECP cylindrical roller bearing is a single-row rolling bearing with an optimised internal design in SKF’s Explorer series. With a bore diameter of 50 mm, an outer diameter of 110 mm and a width of 27 mm, the design can accommodate high radial loads. The open bearing has no integrated sealing washers. Lubricants reach the rolling elements unhindered, whilst the surrounding machine housing provides protection against contamination.
This cylindrical roller bearing is used where high radial loads occur and the shaft needs to be fixed in both axial directions at the same time. Thanks to the line contact between the cylindrical rollers and the raceways, the series can withstand high transverse forces. To ensure reliable operation, the permissible temperature range is designed to be from –30 to +120 degrees Celsius.
The NUP design features a fixed bearing with two fixed flanges on the outer ring, one fixed flange on the inner ring and a loose flange disc. This design secures the shaft axially on both sides. The integrated polyamide cage guides the rollers quietly and is characterised by its low weight. The bearing has standard radial clearance. In terms of dimensional accuracy, it complies with tolerance class P0/PN or ABEC 1, whilst its running accuracy is manufactured to P6 or ABEC 3.
The model is a single-row radial roller bearing with a 50 mm bore, an 110 mm outer diameter and a width of 27 mm. The NUP design features fixed flanges on the outer ring and a fixed flange with a loose flange disc on the inner ring. This enables the bearing to withstand high radial forces and support the shaft in both axial directions.
This designation indicates an optimised internal design (E) and a polyamide cage (CP). This combination reduces the weight of the cage, ensures smooth running and minimises friction between the rolling elements during operation.
As a fixed bearing, the NUP design secures the shaft axially in both directions relative to the housing. The flanges absorb axial guidance forces, whilst the cylindrical rollers carry the main radial loads at the bearing location.
In terms of dimensional accuracy, the roller bearing complies with tolerance class P0/PN or ABEC 1. In terms of running accuracy, the bearing is manufactured to P6 or ABEC 3, which contributes to precise concentricity and low vibration.
As the bearing is manufactured without integrated seals, lubrication is provided by grease or lubricating oil from the housing assembly. The surrounding machine housing acts as a seal against dirt and moisture. The permissible temperature range is between -30 and +120 degrees Celsius.
The model is manufactured with standard radial bearing clearance. This standard radial clearance is suitable for typical fit conditions on the shaft and housing, provided there is no unusual thermal expansion between the inner and outer rings.
