Axial cylindrical roller bearings

Axial cylinder roller bearings consist of their main component, the axial cylinder roller cage assemblies and the housing or shaft washers.
This type of bearing has been designed to withstandextremely high axial forces at minimum axial structural height. Axial cylinder roller bearings can only withstand single-sided axial loads and ensure an extremely stiff bearing.
If the relevant locations on the adjacent machine parts are designed as raceways (in other words hardened and polished) then axial cylinder roller cage assemblies (without housing or shaft washers) can be used. If this is not the case, axial bearing washers (in other words housing and shaft washers) are necessary.
